Financial Commitment

Delta Sigma Phi offers among the lowest dues on campus. Our membership is not based on who can afford it, but the quality of the members we recruit. Dues are not used to “buy friends”, but instead are used to pay for events and activities that we participate in throughout the semester.

In addition, payment plans and scholarships are available to members who qualify. Our members currently pay dues in the amount of $800 a semester. Payment plans can be applied weekly, biweekly, and monthly. Although this may seem like a lot of money, if you break down the cost of dues, its only about $35 a week. Most people easily spend that same amount when they go out on the weekends. As a member of Delta Sigma Phi, all of our events are free after paying dues- and these include multiple dinners, socials, date nights, parties, brotherhood trips, etc. By keeping dues low, we ensure that you have plenty left over to spend on other things.

All members are required to live one academic year in the Delta Sigma Phi house. Although most members choose to live more than one year, we have a one year policy to ensure that the house remains full. The brothers of Delta Sigma Phi respect their property and keep the house clean year round- most guests are surprised by how clean our house is kept. The cost of living in the house is equal to or less than the cost of living in the dorms and the Delta Sigma Phi house is on the UGA Bus Route.
